Leadership Symposiums
Our History
Leadership Symposiums began in 2023 as a new model for equipping young leaders to serve and ever changing church. For three years, "Youth Leadership Symposium" invited youth to zoom in, learning together and learning from each other. The impact of students on their local church was inspiring and plans for YALS and ECLS quickly emerged.
Who We Are
Leadership Symposiums is a partnership of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ with a commitment to making leadership development available to students across the arc of education. Staffing for Leadership Symposiums is provided by Higher Education and Leadership Ministries. Organizational leadership comes from a representative group of church partners who represent ministries serving youth, young adults, and theological students.
